selasphorus was so well-received that a separate journal has been created for it; Expand Your Birdy Horizons, EYBH, or Bird of the Day. The goal is to post a bird a day, with information about the bird and links to photos. It may be a familiar species, but chances are it's a bird you've never heard of (unless you're also a confirmed birdgeek).
All images linked remain the property of the photographer; this project is intended merely to illustrate bird species with the help of these photographs, thus an educational use. Most images were found via Google Image Search.
